Earlier this year, the Boeing Company identified AOS as an SME (Small to Medium Enterprise) with capabilities of interest to Boeing’s Integrated Defense Systems and, through an agreement with the Industry Division of the DMO (Defence Materiel Organisation), AOS representatives were subsequently invited to participate in a series of meetings and presentations at Boeing sites in St Louis, Seattle and LA.
Andrew Lucas and Rick Evertsz (AOS MD and Research Director respectively) represented the company during the 10-day Boeing tour in May. Discussions focused on Training Systems and Andrew and Rick made formal presentations to Boeing technical staff, followed by one-on-one meetings where AOS technology and JACK®/CoJACK™ applications could be discussed in more detail. Andrew and Rick were very pleased with their reception at Boeing and look forward to pursuing joint research efforts discussed during the course of their meetings.
AOS would like to thank the DMO for facilitating the Boeing tour, Boeing’s Office of Australian Industry Capability for being excellent hosts and Boeing liaison Dean Webb for his insights and introductions.
