Joint Strike Fighter
Dateline: Hampshire, UK. 14-20 July 2008
This year marks the 60th Anniversary of the Farnborough Air Show. To put that into perspective, one of the feature attractions of that first show in 1948 was the public debut of the first turboprop airliner, the Vickers Viscount.
AOS has been a participant at Farnborough since the company was founded in 1997 and this is our fourth show with a stand presence. This year we’re part of the East of England International exhibit in Hall 4, stand number E19.
Representing AOS at the show will be Andy Park, Director of North American Operations and Dr. Andrew Lucas, Managing Director of the AOS Group. This core team will be augmented during the week by staff from AOS UK in Cambridge.
AOS focus at this year’s show is our recent work in Australia, the UK and USA with UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), as well as our PHM (Prognostic Health Management) work on the Joint Strike Fighter (F-35).
